Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club Wedding

On July 15th, I photographed Toni Ann and Steve’s Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club wedding in Sea Bright, NJ. My happy couple, who also happen to be high school sweethearts love the beach, so it only made sense for them to have a beachy wedding at the Jersey Shore! These two had a beautiful sunny day for their wedding and Toni Ann had first looks with her bridesmaids, the groomsmen, her Dad and her groom! For portraits we used the beach and their trolley for photos before their short and sweet beach ceremony. These two partied the night away with their guests and I had so much fun capturing it all!

Toni Ann and Steve met in high school during their junior year. For their first date, Steve picked Toni up in his Jeep Wrangler and they went to Rita’s ice cream after school during their senior year of high school.

Engaged on 12/23/21, the proposal from Toni Ann: “Steve planned on proposing the following week when we were going on vacation to Charleston, SC. He decided that he couldn’t wait any longer and would pop the question while out to dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant, Nadies. Of course we were sat at a table that was different than where we normally sit and were right next to the kitchen. Steve got nervous that if he got down on one knee at the table that he would be in the way of the kitchen so he decided to wait until we were outside in the parking lot. Leftovers in one hand and ring in the other – a true Italian proposal! It was nice that we were able to celebrate with our families the following days on Christmas and then had our whole vacation to celebrate!”

Toni Ann, a teacher and Steve, a chemical engineer love to cook together and try new places to eat (especially pizza!) when they weren’t planning their wedding. They also enjoy tailgating and going to football games since Toni went to Penn State, they are big tailgate and football fans! Now married, their dreams include starting a family together and having kids. They recently moved to South Carolina and are enjoying life in the warmer weather.

Their advice for couple’s currently planning their special day is to get the big things taken care of as soon as possible, start collecting addresses, and try to give yourself time so you aren’t too stressed. They were most looking forward to having the best party with all of their friends and family by their sides. Toni Ann and Steve are currently on an Italian honeymoon, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your beautiful Windows on the Water at Surfrider Beach Club wedding!
