Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park Wedding

Just this past weekend, I photographed Gina and Nick’s gorgeous Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park Wedding. These two had a summer like Fall day for their wedding and it was the perfect day. I first met Gina and Nick when he was the best man and she was a bridesmaid in Julie and Christian’s wedding and knew sparks were going to fly on their day when I met up with them for their engagement session one year to the date of their wedding! Gina and Nick’s relationship began as just friends, they were a part of the same friends circle for several years before they became an item. They would often find themselves sitting and talking to each other at the end of the night, unaware of the mutual attraction they each had for one another. They bonded while talking about movies, sharing jokes, and exchanging stories about their families. Over time, they decided to take a chance and further explore their feelings, which quickly turned into them falling deeply in love. The rest is history!

Their Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park wedding day started out perfectly. I adored photographing in the bridal suite of the Hunting Hill Mansion. Gina’s details were well thought out and her bouquet from Bonnie’s Wonder Garden was absolutely stunning. I loved all the family heirlooms and the ways Gina paid tribute to her late mother within her details. We chose to do their first look on a path just outside the bridal suite, my couple was happy and giggly for the first look and that continued all over the grounds of Ridley Creek for their couple photos. Their ceremony was short and beautiful and overlooked the stone staircase. My favorite part of the ceremony was when Gina’s emotional brother gave her away. Their party was nonstop with lots of millennial hits played by the DJ!
