On July 2nd, I photographed Lauren and Eliot’s The Mill Lakeside Manor Wedding in Spring Lake, NJ. Lauren and Eliot love water and Summer, so they had an elegant and romantic wedding by the lake. The perfect location for their Fourth of July weekend wedding was the Mill Lakeside Manor! The day began with portraits at Divine Park with an indoor traditional Jewish ceremony. Their families played a huge part of the day, Lauren’s getting robe was made from her mother’s dress as well as the fabric wrapped around the stems of her bouquet. The Mill Lakeside Manor is one of my favorite New Jersey wedding venues so I am excited to share their beautiful Summer wedding!
Lauren and Eliot first started talking on Bumble, shortly after the first conversation, they planned their first date for the following week. That first date was to a sushi restaurant in Cranbury, NJ on June 15th, 2019. Eliot thought it would be the perfect first date because they both love sushi. They ate and then walked around the town of Cranbury. This was the start to weekly sushi dates since.
Engaged on 12/31/2021, the proposal: “We had plans to go out to dinner for New Years Eve to one of our go to restaurants, Fresco’s in Milltown, NJ. After dinner the plan was to hangout at Lauren’s friends house with her friend group to ring in the new year. Plans changed last minute, and it became just one couple coming over to hangout after dinner. Eliot wasn’t sure exactly when he was going to do it now with all of the plans changing. He decided the perfect time was right before going to dinner. As we were getting ready to leave, Eliot took Lauren’s hands and started expressing how much she means to him. He then got down on one knee and proposed!! We Facetimed our families right away and then headed to the restaurant, we both were too excited to even eat! After dinner, Lauren’s friend came over with her husband! Was a fun night of taking pictures, relaxing, and telling all of our family and friends. We got to ring in the new year sitting comfy on the couch with late night food and engaged – we spent the next day visiting our families and celebrating!”
Lauren, a speech pathologist and Eliot, an insurance agent love to go on walks, hikes, try new restaurants and watch movies and TV shows together when they weren’t planning their The Mill Lakeside Manor wedding. Lauren and Eliot recently adopted a puppy and now married, their dreams include having children and more dogs together. They would love to have a nice house with a big backyard for the dogs and kids to play in. Their summer’s will be spent at the beach and lakes traveling with their family.
Lauren and Eliot were most excited to officially becoming Mr. and Mrs. while surrounded by their family and friends. Thank you to Lauren and Eliot for choosing me to be your photographer, Mazel tov!
