On October 16th, I photographed Kelsey and Josh’s Woodcrest Country Club Wedding in Cherry Hill, NJ. Kelsey & Josh had a modern and romantic Fall wedding with a color palette of maroon and navy. They said “I do” in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St Charles Borromoeo Church in Cinnaminson, NJ before partying the night away at their lively reception! Kelsey and Josh met on Facebook. They were already Facebook friends even though they had never actually met in person as Kelsey went to the high school in a neighboring town. Josh posted a status on Facebook that she liked and from there, Josh sent her a direct message. Kelsey held out a little bit but eventually gave him a chance. It soon developed into a head over heels love from that one message.
Their first date was on January 13th, 2012, they were supposed to go get ice cream, but instead they hung out for hours at Josh’s parents house watching movies and getting to know one another. Josh knew Kelsey was the one when they talked about their futures and what they wanted in life and realized how similar their goals were. After spending more time together, Kelsey knew Josh was the one when she realized how much they completed one another and how he truly became her best friend.
Engaged on 09/08/2019, the proposal from Kelsey: “Josh took me for an early birthday celebration at Crossing Vineyards in Newtown, PA to do a wine tasting and tour. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to go but Josh told me to dress nice and said let’s just go. After the wine tasting I happened to use the restroom where Josh had his plan all ready with the staff at the vineyard. I came out and he said okay time for the tour. We walked outside to the vineyards and as we were admiring the grapes Josh sort of stopped talking. I turned around and there he was on one knee! I couldn’t believe it!!”
After being together for almost 10 years, Kelsey and Josh were most looking forward to seeing one another in the church for the first time that day, and there was not a dry eye in that church when Kelsey walked down the aisle! They were also looking forward to being able to celebrate and dance with all their family and friends and see all of the planning come to life! Now married, their dreams include starting their family. Their advice for couple’s currently planning is to not sweat the small things and to remember you are always a team. It’s about you, your spouse, and your love and that’s all! These two are currently on their honeymoon at Sandals Regency La Toc in St Lucia! Thank you to Kelsey and Josh for choosing me to photograph your Woodcrest Country Club wedding.
