Last weekend, I photographed Sheri and Tom at the Bradford Estate in Hainesport, NJ. The Bradford Estate is one of my favorite South Jersey wedding venues and it continues to not disappoint! I am so excited to share these images from Sheri and Tom’s day.
Sheri and Tom met on New Years Eve 2015, it was an unexpected night, but what they later would refer to as the best night ever. Sheri and Tom were both at Maynard’s Bar in Margate, NJ ringing in the new year with some of their closest friends. They had been standing near each other the whole night, but it wasn’t until after midnight when their friend groups started to mingle. Everyone was having fun and getting along, but there seemed to be an immediate connection between Sheri and Tom. As the hours went by and the night was coming to an end Sheri and Tom both had hope that it wouldn’t be the last time they were going to see each other and that 2015 was off to a good start. Even though everyone who was there has a slightly different version of how the night went, all versions end the same. From that night on it was the start of their forever.
When I walked into Sheri’s parents home for the start of their day, I was greeted by the calmest and happiest group! Sheri was finishing up hair and makeup while I photographed her details. I loved capturing Sheri getting into her gorgeous Allure gown that had the prettiest lace appliques and illusion back and bodice. The room we used at her parent’s home had perfect natural light and the smiles and giggles from Sheri was perfect! I loved every single expression. Once dressed, I photographed Sheri with all her gorgeous bridesmaids (I am obsessed with their minty “Spa” dresses from David’s Bridal!). Not only did I love their gowns, but the bouquets were stunning as well, they were filled with peach stock, blush roses, white freesia, light pink alstroemeria and silver dollar and willow eucalyptus. Another sweet detail I loved about Sheri’s bouquet was that the stems were wrapped in material from her mother’s wedding gown, I love when my couple’s incorporate these special details into their day.
Once dressed, it was time for their traditional Catholic ceremony at St Joan of Arc Church in Marlton, NJ. The sweetest moments of the ceremony was when Sheri walked down the aisle, while her father shook Tom’s hand, she wiped tears from her eyes! I also loved that Sheri’s uncle is a priest and helped perform the ceremony. Once the ceremony was complete and these two had an adorable church exit, it was time for their romantic portraits at the Bradford Estate! I absolutely adored photographing these two and I can still hear Sheri laughing when I look at these photos. Before their special day, Sheri told me how much they loved the windows at Bradford Estate, so we made sure we used them in plenty of their photos!
Once portraits were complete, it was time for their reception. Center Stage Entertainment did an amazing job with the blue uplighting and keeping the dance floor packed, I love working with this DJ group! Before the night was complete and after all their special dances and sweet speeches were made, i was lucky enough to get these two outside for a romantic night photo before I departed for the night.
Thank you to Sheri and Tom for allowing me to photograph your Bradford Estate wedding, I hope you two are enjoying Hawaii!
Sheri and Tom’s wedding was beautiful! The day’s memories are displayed perfectly in the photos.
