South Jersey Newborn and Family Photography | Baby Carson’s First Family Portraits

One of the greatest joys of being a South Jersey newborn and family photographer is watching families grow. Last summer, I had the privilege of photographing Carson’s parents during their beautiful Jersey Shore maternity photography session. Seeing them return to my studio with their sweet baby boy in their arms made this session even more special.

There’s something so meaningful about documenting a family’s journey from pregnancy to parenthood. Being able to capture both their maternity and newborn milestones allows them to tell a complete story and one that they’ll cherish for years to come.

A Coastal Inspired Newborn Session

Mom has always loved soft coastal colors, so we designed Carson’s newborn session around a palette of light blues, soft greens, creams, and warm tans. These timeless colors created a calm and organic feel while beautifully complementing his family’s style.

Sweet Sibling Portraits

One of my favorite parts of this South Jersey newborn and family photography session was watching Carson’s big sister interact with her new baby brother.

She was incredibly proud of her newest role and absolutely loved cuddling with him during their sibling portraits. From gentle hugs to sweet snuggles, she couldn’t stop smiling whenever she was holding him.

Sibling photographs often become some of the most treasured images from a newborn session because they capture the very beginning of a lifelong relationship. These moments are impossible to recreate later, which makes documenting them so meaningful.
